The Not Yet Lab

weaving more liberatory futures into being

A space for dreamers, mothers, healers, rebels, and wanderers who refuse to let collapse numb their imagination, harden the hearts or have them dwell deep in the depths of despair.

This is not a school. It is not a program. It is a loom, a magdal.

The Lab is a gathering place where futures are spun from grief and tenderness, care and rebellion, myth and memory, from the past and present alike.

If I ever recommend something or share an affiliate link, it's always tried and tested! I also welcome responses to my emails, or sharing thoughts, I grew up with a blog on blogger so comments mean a lot to me!

We haven't met yet! I'm Sara - a mother, writer and facilitator living in Cairo, Egypt. I spend a lot of time learning and in community with chosen family. I contemplate care and belonging the most - I even came up with my very own spectrum of relating [smothering -- mothering -- othering] which I have an embodied experience of.

I'm currently (very slowly) working on a hybrid memoir on postcolonial mothering and I'm part of the Spiral Journey Facilitator Development Program facilitator team.

    Nice to meet you!
