Where, oh, where has my internet gone?

While everyone is advocating for Analog...

I'm going for an internet of the early 2000s - an internet where we weren't selling all the time, where we posted just for the sake of it, and shared just for the joy of it. Our timelines showed people only from our friends list, or people we followed if you were on instagram.

We shared albums and notes and poetry. There was a blog, always, definitely there was a blog. And what's where I wrote random little updates like I would on here.

I'm exploring DFOS and I'm actually getting a bit excited about it, it feels like the internet of my teens.

I'm part of the Creative Living writing challenge and the piece I wrote yesterday was about the house I lived in as a teen.

Which is actually where I live now with my kids and bones of my teenage years. The flat feels like a museum of reckless behavior. And still, I view all these memories fondly now. Because I guess this is what time does. Here's my piece from yesterday and what I just wrote today

In other news, I have some Work that Reconnects workshops coming up and I wanted to let you know.

ANDDDD the Portals Imaginarium is happening, I would love for you to join me, I'll share more in another email but for now, here's more!

I talk about collapse, imagination and liberation, poeticizing the mundane + contemplating belonging/othering under modernity. I'm a Work that Reconnects facilitator, Offers + Needs Markets facilitator + an energy facilitator. I offer online workshops and in-person micro-residencies. 1:1 offerings coming soon!
