Summer Dispatch; Solstice!

Sara El-Sayeh

Blaqube

Hello there

I'm writing this on the day of the solstice, the longest day of the year is upon us here in the Northern Hemisphere - and I'm catching up on a lot of studying, decluttering my calendar because I've identified it as one of the main reasons behind my overwhelm.

Being my curious self, I would love to know if there are any special things you're doing today to mark the threshold. June is a weird month for me, it gets pretty busy with nothing at all, it seems.

Some things I'd like to share

Below are some links that I wanted to share with you.

  • My friend Nouran is looking for design projects if you'd like to create with her.
  • Nicole Cloutier has opened up her waiting list for open loop - which I am slowly doing and can't recommend enough - join here
  • Speaking of Nicole, have you listened to my podcast episode with her ?
  • I wrote a pretty brave/vulnerable piece and shared it on substack and would love to hear your thoughts about it.

En fin, I have a couple of workshops coming up in July and August and wanted to put them here in case you wanted to join?

Dancing the Spiral

A work that reconnects meets somatic exploration 6 week workshop that I'm co-facilitating w/Samu

Portals Imaginarium

A visioning workshop resourcing through present, past and future to bring our visions to life. I'm revisiting the agenda to this and will update it so soon

Facets of Being

I talk about collapse, imagination and liberation, poeticizing the mundane + contemplating belonging/othering under modernity. I'm a Work that Reconnects facilitator, Offers + Needs Markets facilitator + an energy facilitator. I offer online workshops and in-person micro-residencies. 1:1 offerings coming soon!
