Hello!
I'm writing from the other side of not one, but two, very last minute and unexpected trips that have changed the course of my life. This year, I took a role within the Ecoversities Alliance and that meant that I was invited to represent the alliance at the Earthrise Gathering that happened in Interlaken in September - I wrote about it here.
Now, having a valid Schengen visa offers me visa upon arrival to a few other countries, something that's not common for people like me (with Egyptian passports) so with much generosity from my parents, we were able to have my kids go on their first international trip. I feel blessed to say the least.
I'm waiting to see who I am when it's done with me.
Prophecy has been very present in my life, sometimes more clearly than other times. In Siwa, years ago, I would stand on the ruins of the temple of the oracle of Amon and wait to see if she has something to tell me. If anything, I don't remember anything she did say. At the gathering, people spoke of prophecies from different nations and I guided a very, very brief meditation to have people receive their part of the prophecy, which I imagine we could piece together and create the tapestry of the future.
I'm thinking of recording a version of this once I land back home and convene with the person I'm becoming, I would love to share it with you.

The 6 week workshop follows the expanded spiral of the Work that Reconnects with a focus on how to collaborate with the imagination to bring liberatory futures into being. I'm excited about doing this. I'm actually rather proud of myself for having mapped out my offers for the winter.
